No Wilson won't be coming to Calgary. He's not what the Flames need.
Hartley was a development coach, plain and simple. I thought he'd get next year and then not have his contract renewed. That seemed more logical given where the team is at. Now? I do think the timing with Boudreau is ironic though...
So what happens to Gelina, Cloutier, Sigalet? Why not purge the entire coaching group?
The Canucks deserve Torts again... |

cloutier was fired alongside Bob, because they've been a package deal his whole career. the rest of the staff was retained, for now anyway
"development coach" yet failed to get special teams and possession significantly off the ground this year despite the improvements made to roster. yes, it's true that his job would probably have been saved with league average goaltending but it's the right move regardless. putting him on a short leash for next year, as many suggested, would have been a half measure |
